I am from Cuba. I studied graphic design at the University of Havana from 2001 to 2007. I took courses in landscape painting and after that I started doing exhibitions with the other artists. I have done 4 exhibitions in Cuba in 2002, 2004, 2007, 2010.
Through the landscape, I intend to communicate the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting the environment. Ecology as a central idea is present in many of my landscapes. In others, the central idea is linked to the human desire to know and to undertake. Each element of nature brings concepts and ideas which are carried into the daily life of people. In other words, we can say that the human being is intimately linked to nature and this is the main message of my work.
In addition to the landscape, I touched the portrait and the human figure in general. The figures of animals in a natural environment are also recurrent in my work.
I use the acrylic technique on canvas and cardboard.
